Albert Einstein Global Fellowship for Researchers – Germany, 2023

The Einstein Forum and the Wittenstein Foundation offer fellowships to outstanding young thinkers who wish to pursue projects in areas different from their previous fields of study. The aim of the fellowship is to support those who, in addition to doing outstanding work in their specialized fields, are open to other interdisciplinary approaches – following the example of Albert Einstein.

Value and duration of the scholarship: The scholarship includes accommodation for five to six months in a garden cottage at Einstein’s own summer residence in Kapps, Brandenburg, a short distance from universities and academic institutions in Potsdam and Berlin . Fellows will receive a stipend of €10,000 and travel reimbursement.

qualified: Candidates must be under the age of 35 and hold a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences.

At the end of the fellowship period, the Fellow will present his or her project at a public lecture at the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation. Einstein Scholarships are not available to applicants who wish to complete academic research they have already begun.
