All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Commonwealth Scholarships at the University of Guelph, Canada 2022-23

• Students enrolled as full-time visiting exchange students for at least one semester in developing countries of the Commonwealth of Nations, studying or conducting research in the field of agriculture and rural development.
• Selection will be based on an evaluation of: (a) submission of a one-page paper outlining the importance of the partner exchange university’s program of study to students visiting Guelph; (b) two teacher recommendations, each not to exceed one pp.; (c) course transcripts to date showing a consistent history of excellence in completed coursework.
