Founded by Eugene ophthalmologist Dr. John Haines with a keen interest in international students, scholarships of up to $5,000 each are awarded each academic year to students wishing to pursue degree programs at the University of Oregon in the United States.
The scholarship program is organized for new and current international students at the University of Oregon, but preference will be given to African students.

How to Apply: Students wishing to be considered for a scholarship must first submit a Online Application for Admission. All eligible students will be considered upon application.
